The Democrats are not finished with Donald Trump over the US Capitol riots. As well as pushing for the formation of a special committee, one of its members is also suing Trump and his former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on charges of sparking riots that killed the six people.

American MP Bennie Thompson is listed as a party to suing Trump and Giuliani. He also sued two far-right groups Proud Boys and the Oath Keeper. In their lawsuit, Thompson accused them of violating the Ku Klux Klan laws of 1871 for plotting attacks on the US Capitol.

"The US Capitol riots are the result of the orchestration of Trump, Giuliani, and extremist groups such as the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys. They share the same views about using intimidation, violence and threats to stop the ratification of the electoral election results," said a press statement on the lawsuit. from Reuters news agency, Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

This will be the second legal process that Donald Trump will undergo if the lawsuit is accepted. Not long ago, Donald Trump escaped his second impeachment attempt which was also related to the US Capitol riots. As for the impeachment proposed by the American Parliament which is dominated by Democrats.

During the hearing, Trump escaped impeachment because the applicant failed to get the necessary voting support. They have to collect two-thirds of the US Senate votes to impeach Trump, 67 votes. The number of votes collected was 57, less than 10 more.

Although Trump was not impeached, the majority of the Senate agreed that Trump was indeed responsible for the US Capitol unrest in various capacities. One of the things was stated by the head of the Senate Minority Republican, Mitch McConnell, after seeing the evidence during the trial.

This latest lawsuit does not call for Donald Trump to be impeached again. Like any lawsuit, the plaintiffs are demanding material and immaterial damages. The value of the desired sentence was not named, but the lawsuit clearly asks Donald Trump and his allies not to be allowed to violate the Ku Klux Klan rules again.

Trump's legal adviser, Jason Miller, denied the suit. He quoted the results of Trump's impeachment trial, which he said confirmed his client's non-involvement.

"President Trump did not plan, produce, let alone organize a demonstration on January 6 at the US Capitol," Miller said.

Australian infectious disease expert Dominic Dwyer said the WHO team had asked for raw patient data from 174 cases China had identified from the initial phase of the outbreak in the city of Wuhan in December 2019. However, the WHO team was only given a summary.

Such raw data is known as a 'row list' and will usually be anonymized. The data contains details such as what questions are asked of patients, their responses and how they respond when analyzed.

"That is standard practice in an outbreak investigation," said Dwyer, quoted by Al Jazeera, Monday, February 15, 2021.

He said that getting access to the raw data was very important because only half of the 174 exposed cases had ever gone to the Huanan market. The wholesale seafood market in Wuhan is thought to be where the new Coronavirus was detected.

"That's why we insist on asking for it. Why didn't it happen, I can't comment. Either for political reasons or timing. But is there any other reason why the data is not available, I don't know," he said.

The mission carried out by the WHO team for four weeks in China to reveal the origin of the Corona virus was completed earlier this week, without any conclusive results or findings.

Until now, the Chinese government has not commented on these claims. But the central government in Beijing stressed the importance of internal transparency
